Return Spring

Has anybody had the problem with the left rudder return spring rubbing
(actually snagging, with full right rudder and left brake applied)
against the top shoulder of the brake cylinder? Must the left brake
cylinder be oriented with oil fittings pointing towards passenger, as
described in the manual? I know that it can be fixed with some sort of
little offset brackets, but I guess I'm surprised that I've never heard
of the problem before.
Thanks, Clay

Clay,

You can also put this return spring on the Passenger side left pedal and
hook to a small mfg'd angle bracket riveted to the floor. You can see an
example of this in the Aircraft section of our site, by expanding the
interior shot of the 1996/99 Rebel!
