I used to think all those RV guys were nuts when they kept their planes in bare metal and primer during the test flight period.
And then...
A local pilot who used to deliver Cessnas from Wichita told me that the Cessna test pilots would take the planes up and hear the "snap, crackle, pop" of things (like fasteners and rivets) settling in during the test flight.
So I thought I would get the opinions from those who have been there. Is it better to leave the Rebel primed but not yet topcoated during its flight test period?
Thanks!
Rich
