After reviewing my notes in the fuel tank assembly chapter, the directions
don't include the sump drain (CAV-110 & W-159). The part is included in the
kit but not addressed in the manual. This must go on the bottom of the skin,
lower in-board corner. W-159 must be rivetted to the bottom of the skin to
allow the sump to drain properly. This can be done after the aircraft is
done.
Also be sure to vent the tanks with RAM air as per Murphy's new tech
article
"fuel tank cross venting" which is on there web page.
