Now have 20 hrs on 776. 0- time overhauled 160 HP, 2150 full lotus,
Mckenzie stall kit,74-42 prince prop.Only thing i Can compare it with is my
PA-11 in which i flew 700 hrs on floats.
Great aircraft great performance even with heavy loads.Lots off room.2750
RPMs almost immediately after applying power.Same at climbout.Oil temp
190-200. 220 on a 28 degree day.Cooler mounted in front off cylinder,same
as cheroke 140 ECG at 1500 full rich. 90-95 MPH at 2450 RPM.Probably
should have went with 74-44.Hav a issue with the prince prop, have to deal
with lonnie before i will comment on forum.Just posted a photo.Engine has
used 4 liters off oil Not sure if this is normal or not.
Burns almost 2 times the gas as my PA-11 but goes only 10 MPH faster.Guess
you have to pay just in case you want to carry the extra load if
needed.Full lotus floats are quite different,no pumping, great for beaching.

Looks good Alvin congradulations. I'd like to hear the story on your prop
when you feel it's appropriate to share. Lonnie insisted that I needed a
74- 46 for the same engine with murphy floats. I'm still a week or two away
from flying the new engine.
