I am working on the cage assembly. I was thinking of installing 5/16 anchor
nuts in the aft carrythrough to alleviate the need for inspection holes to
be able to remove the wishbone for float installation. You would just remove
the bolts through holes in the front carrythrough.
Has anyone tried this, or can anyone think of why it might not be a good
idea?

That's exactly what I did Jesse. It's worked perfectly for me so far. I
imagine that someday the nutplates will lose their grip but by then I
should probably be thinking about opening up the floor for a look see at
everything else anyway

Sounds like something I should look into also ? Do you have any photos of
