[rebel-builders] Math question etc.

Thrust, drag, lift, weight, and centrifugal force in a turn which is really
an apparent force. Also called a reactive force acting in opposition to the
centripetal force caused by rotation it is basically added to weight to give
you a total load on the aircraft. All the materials I used as a student and
later as a flight instructor refer to the "four" forces acting on an
aircraft in flight. Centrifugal force is talked about separately when
referring to load and load factor. I'll leave it up to you if you want to
call it "five" by including centrifugal force.

While we are on the subject, can anyone recall the five forces acting
on a powered aircraft in flight?

[rebel-builders] Math question etc.

Now I've got egg on my face. How could I have missed the greatest force of
all acting on an airplane?! Especially after being heavily under its
influence after my only (so far) ground loop a few years ago.
