Is the large one softer perhaps Mike ?
This is probably a TLAR situation.

(that looks about right) ;)

firewall wall forward by tony bingelis list following torques for rubber
mount bushings for conical engine mounts

small bushing 80 in-lbs
large bushings 40 in-lbs

i would have thought larger bushing would have higher torque value, are
these numbers backwards
anybody help on this

[rebel-builders] conical engine mounting torques

Mike small ones are the little guys on C-65's that look like grommets!

On the normal Lycoming rubbers for conical mounts there is a dimension that
you should have between the pad and the large washer on the other side once
you tighten them down. I can't remember the dimension...or where I put the
#....but since you have the steel insert aerobatic 6230's it doesn't really
matter.

If you followed my information/measurements that I took the time to get you
on the 31st...your welcome btw....and bought the same length bolts and have
a big ass thick washer on the forward side of it to retain the lord
mount..then like Ken says TLAR and the cotter pin should drop in the bolt
hole to boot!
