Yes they have a flow control valve. It's a simple butterfly that you
operate with your finger poked into the outlet hole and it seems to work
fine.

Mike, It looks like those $18 plastic eyeball vents from ACS can control
the

direction of air flow, but can they also control the amount of air flow
like

the larger aluminum ones. I'm considering using these with a 1" scat hose
attached to a hole in the leading edge wing to fuse fairing. Something
like

Cessna. Anyone try this?

The plastic eyeball vents that I have for fresh air are from Aircraft
Spruce
and only cost $18 each. The same thing in aluminum from ACS are $163
each.
I also have some plastic eyeball vents that I got from Vans originally
for
fresh air, but they were too big. From sheer luck those vents actually
worked perfectly on my heater box. They are about twice the size of the
ones from ACS.

I'm pretty sure the ones Mike K has in his SR came from Vans... they're
plastic, not metal like the $$$ ones, but look like they'll work fine.

Speaking of NACA ducts and eyeball vents, does anyone know where one can
purchase eyeball vents that don't cost an arm and a leg?
Thanks,
