OT - Edenvale Fly-in BBQ - This Saturday, May 27th !

Hi All !
Everyone is invited to a big Fly-In BBQ at Edenvale Flying Club on
Saturday, May 27th, to introduce the new facilities. It's just south-east
of Collingwood & Stayner, north of Borden. CNV8 on the newest charts.
Edenvale is a former military base, being re-born as a major Ontario
Flight Center, with training facilities for ultralights, certified aircraft,
antiques, classics, and gliders ! Plans include a restaurant and motel -
some rooms are available now for new students. They are also looking for
aviation-related businesses to locate there. This will be a place worth
visiting !
There's a 2,500 ft. paved strip, 28 - 06, a parallel grass strip of
similar length, and fuel available. Co-ordinates are: N 44 26 28 / W 79 57 46
UNICOM is 122.775. Elevation is 714 ASL. Phone: 705-428-3111

Rebel builder Jim Cole will be helping out on the grill - please fly
or drive in to visit & share the fun (and free food !) ! :-)
We'll try to get up - and in the air - before "the crack of noon"
to be there ! Hope to see some more Murphy's flying in !!
