Hi Hans
The extra float bulkheads are ahead of the normal fuselage bulkhead. Your
floor pan should pick up the fuselage bulkhead at the rear edge, with the
float extra bulkhead being just ahead of it.
The side skins should meet the rear of the cabin area squarely, so that just
leaves the roof panel that should overlap the tailcone skin and pick up the
upper flange of the normal fuselage bulkhead.

If that is not what you have, can you email me direct (NOT via the list as
it will not do it) a few photo's of what you have ?

Thanks

Can anyone tell me please what I am doing wrong.
I am trying to mate the Cabin to the Tail Cone.
I get the sides nicely together without Oil Canning, however the Cabin
Roof is about 3/16 to short.
Or I can get the roof nicely lined up and the bottom of the cabin and
the Tail Cone
but not the top part of the sides. I had all three together about
three weeks ago .
Since then I in stalled spacers (1/4 ")between the bulkheads that holds
the Float attachment to stiffen up the sloppy bulkhead.
Does anyone have the the precise measurements between bulkheads?
Any help would be much appreciated!!!
Thanks
Hans

Not that it will help your problem, but the extra half bulkhead for the
float attach fittings (which, as Nigel says, goes in front of the main
bulkhead on the Elite, is normally just pulled in to join the main
builkhead at the top, with no spacer. That does result in two
non-parallel rows of rivets, but that's the way it's supposed to be.

I'm not really sure what your problem is, but the cabin and tailcone
bulkheads should be parallel. I'll be at the hangar todat, and will
measure from the rear cabin bulkhead to the front tailcone bulkhead, if
that will help.

Hans,
I'm not sure what your problem is either. I mated mine about a year ago and
don't have the memory for details like Al has. If you want a specific
measurement or from what point let me know where. Or if you want to share a
picture showing something you can send it to mbetti@up.net . My interior is
completed but just in paint. I won't be able to measure anything from the
corner warps or the floor down since they are covering up the bulkheads now.
