Does Oregon Aero do seats for the Rebel, or is it a custom job? Anyone know
what they cost?

Gary,

Nearly two years ago I posted the following photos to the Rebel file
library, section 208, of the MAM leather seats I purchased for my Rebel.

2004_0114_174953AA.JPG
2004_0113_165641AA.JPG

Read the description attached to the first file. My opinion hasn't changed.
The edge stitching is crude. The attach system is adhesive backed velcro on
both the leather and the seat pan, both of which pulled away with little
pressure against them. The attach tabs didn't fit around the Rebel seat
frame and had to be cut. The foam is NOT Confor foam.

I consider them a waste of money. In fairness to MAM, Stephane did offer to
let me ship them back for alterations. I declined only because I didn't
want to sink any more money into them. I will make them work until I can
afford to buy Oregon Aero, or have someone upholster a custom pair.

Jesse,
I spoke with Oregon aero at Oshkosh last year and yes,
they do the Rebel seats. I forget what the price was
but if I can find where I put the estimate I'll let
you know. But I think I left it in MN (I'm in Hawaii
right now). Just shoot them an email and they'll let
you know.

Jesse,

Before I purchased the MAM upholstery I got a quote from Oregon Aero. As I
recall it was in the neighborhood of $1200 USD for the pair. That was a
couple of years ago. Quite expensive, but in hindsight I wish I had
purchased from them.

A Murphy Rebel (for leather and for cloth) and will post what I
Find out.

Thanks Roger,
Everyone who has put their but in one says they're the best. They make seats
for all kinds of military aircraft as well as us little guys. I wish I could
talk my boss into putting them in the worn out Bras

I got a quote from Oregon Aero for roughly the same amount ($1200) about
a month ago and plan to order them soon.
