Rebel-floor channel brackets

Post by bransom » Sun Feb 19, 2012 10:47 am

The ST-40 brackets joining ST-31 channels to bulkheads --- on the side floor
channels where there will be 3 rivets from the bracket into the channel, the
lower rivet is right where the flanged edge of the bottom skin is. Any opinion
on whether that lower rivet should pick up (ie. go through) the flanged edge
from the outside? or, rivet from inside the channel+bracket and let it just
push out the flange a tad?

Second question -- any brackets for the upper channels (along the side
skins)? I'm assuming yes(?), and that they need to be above the channel
because under the channel, the flanged edge of the side skins would interfere.
Thanks,
-Ben/ 496R
