V8 engine mount

Post by Mike Kimball » Sun Feb 19, 2012 10:47 am

FYI - In case you're interested, the guy that built my engine mount still
has the necessary jigs to create additional mounts and may be interested in
producing more. Rick and anyone else crazy enough to go the V8 route, let
me know off list and I can talk to the mount builder. You'll have to use a
block with the same mounting points as mine. It should be standard Chevy
350.

Subject: [rebel-builders] 4130 wall thickness

I am taking a brief survey of those who have built their own engine mount.
I'm hoping Mike K. will respond. What size tubing and wall thickness is the
majority of engine mounts constructed from? I am building a SR2500 with a
V8.
