G'day

I have just fitted a Scott 3200 tailwheel to my 912 Rebel and I am pleased
to say that the difference is amazing.

The ride and the general handling is greatly improved and even the oil
canning noises that she made is reduced.

I have noticed that I need a little more nose down trim so I guess the extra
3 pounds at the back have made a difference, but things work out OK with the
weight and balance.

Anyone want to buy a used rebel tailwheel? Cheap!

regards

Ian
That's good news Ian. What tires are you using on your main wheels and do
you notice a different attitude on the ground? My tailwheel is already
showing lots of wear on the tire and in the swivel.

G'day Drew

I am using the standard Murphy issue tyres (6" I think)

The attitude on the ground is different, but gives you a better look over
the nose when taxying. I took a little time to adjust to the new attitude
when I am landing but that is no big deal.

I can recommend a change to a Scott!

regards

Ian
