Hans,
In addition to the MAM added angles on the top front of the forward carry through many have added a machined aluminum block inside each carry through square tube. These are closely fitted and take the place of the "crush tubes" in the manual. The two out board bolts on each side pass through the blocks and prevent bolt "pull through" and crushing of the square tubes. The aluminum blocks should be epoxied in place so when the gear bolts are removed they don't run away.
