Robert,, You need to go through the manual to make sure all is done and
nothing missed or done wrong. There should be a manual also for the 3500
upgrades that you will have to read between the two manuals to get the
entire picture..
As far as the legs you will need to drill the inside hole to a 10.. I
have a short bit if you want to use it with a right angle drill to do it...
The legs are another story I would voice my opinion on them but I've
already been shot for doing it before...

Hope this helps Dale SR-033

Subject: [rebel-builders] Moose build

This is a question for you Moose builders. I am working on a quick build
Moose fuselage, however the manual supplied is for the SR2500. Is there a
manual for quick builds or is it a mater of going thru the SR2500 manual
and adding what has not already been done?? I would also like to question
the spring landing gear which I feel is extremely heavy weight wise. I can
not even lift the two legs together. Also the manual says to use size 10
bolts for the 3500 which I have , but the pre-installed brackets are
drilled for size 8. I am sure some of you must have crossed this bridge
already. Help appreciated. Thanks. Bob J (formerly Rebel 652, 725, and now

Hi Bob !

It'll be a bit of a challenge ! ;-) There are TWO manuals -
the SR-2500 manual, and a section at the back covering the Moose upgrades.
The Moose pages can't be inserted into the SR manual, as they don't
exactly follow in sequence - so .... you know the drill - read ahead a lot,
then plan, & re-read !! ;-)

You probably should read the archives vigourously about the
attachments for the top ends of those gear legs -- maybe something along
the lines of P-PONK Mods...... It's a BIG airplane, and it needs strong
legs with very strong attachments .... Don't have the answers, but I'm
sure SOMEBODY has good ideas worth doing ... :-)

You'll have to take the back end apart to install the new goodies
back there - might need some extra parts from Murphy, as well ...

I know you're going to have fun - and learn a LOT !!! :-)
