Rebel filler caps

Having purchased my Rebel (#242) from two previous builders, my wings had
already been
assembled with raised gas caps and the tanks are sealed. However, I note
that most
pictures of Rebels posted on the web site have flush mounted gas caps (as
far as I can tell
except the Sloan Rebel).
What are the pro and cons of going with a flush mounted gas cap (hopefully
vented) and
how much trouble is it to change existing raised gas caps? I like the
aesthetics and the
cleaner aerodynamics of the flush mounted caps. Any strong opinions on this
before I
entertain any more ideas of changing the current raised gas caps.
