912 Rebel LSA

Of course the 912 Rebel kit has been around a long time and meets the LSA requirements. No question that it is a fine aircraft. However, it appears that the US LSA market is not composed of kit builders. They are demanding at a minimum a 51% kit that stretches the limits. The ELSA which can be up to 99% built is not practical due to operating limitations. While I can understand that MAM may not want to jump through the SLSA (completed) hoops, they must produce a 51% kit and have builders assist available to participate in the market in my opinion.
Even more importantly, they have to put a completed aircraft out there that a prospective buyer can see and touch.
