Jean,
The ground handling handles go in the rear of the fuselage just in front
of the horizontal stabilizer. They provide just what you want, a means of
lifting or pulling the fuselage without using the empennage. They come
out both sides and are held in the fully retracted position when not in
use. We have them in our Elite and while costly, I would definitely add
them again. They are a bit of a pain to install but we are used to that.
By all means install them before anything else inside the rear tailcone
for maximum ease.
regards,
Ralph

[rebel-builders] towing handles (ground handling handles)

With your explanation of the ground handling handles, I am interested in
learning whether they are flush with the skin when in the fully retracted
position. If that is so, how does one get them extended to use? Twisting?
Spring driven pop out? Does it extend out both sides so that two people can
use for handling?

Yes, flush. You put your finger in the end - push in a little more
and twist then they pop partly out and you pull the rest of the way.
I believe same handles fit all MAM aircraft - but not 100% sure.
