SR2500 Rudder
I have clecoed the rudder skin is in place but it does not fit very well.
It oil cans in the four large rib bays. Has anyone added additional ribs or
stringers to the rudder in the large bays?. If so how did you do it? What
material did you use? Are there any Issues?

There are several MAJOR issues here ! If you add extra stiffness,
and WEIGHT, to ANY control surface, you may mess up the BALANCE - both
static, AND dynamic. Control flutter can spoil your whole day !!
-------------------------------------------
I've seen (& heard!!) control flutter on fibreglass gliders - it makes
your hair stand on end !! (and that's from the OUTSIDE, watching !!)
Please check with the factory before making changes - it's possible you got
a defective skin, or JUST MAYBE, once you have applied the epoxy chromate &
rivetted, the structure will become much stiffer....

Bob and Charlie, Thanks for the reply's. I talked to the factory, they
think the problem will go away when its riveted. That seems to fit with
what Charlie found. I confirmed that my problem is the bend radius on the
trailing edge of the rudder skin. For now I'll let it sit and keep working
on the wings. Al
