Hello Keith,

I am far from a engine guru, but if the case is good, let me know if you do
not take it!!!

Subject: [rebel-builders] Rebel engine question

I have a chance to pick up an 0-320 E2C and was
wondering if any of you guys are engine guru's. I am
wondering if this will work on the Rebel and how is it
different from the 0-320 E2A. I know it has something
to do with the accessory case but not sure what. I may
go take a look at it tomorrow. It is being removed
from a Beech Musketeer. 4802TTSN, 2802SMOH, 423STOH.
Has 2 slick mags, starter, overhauled carb, and fuel
pump. Asking $4000. I would think it might be worth
that just for the core. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Keith R661

[rebel-builders] Rebel engine question

The E2C is the same engine as the E2A except that it came originaly with
1200 series Bendix Mags instead of S4LN-20/21's. This of course is no longer
an issue since someone has swapped them out to Slicks.

Engine has an alternate HP rating of 140HP at 2450 as well as 150HP @ 2700.
Means nothing..still just a 7.00 to 1 compression, 150 HP, fixed pitched
prop engine with 3/8 prop bolts.

Could be either conical or Type 1 dynafocal mount.

$4000US is a good core price...but you may get what you pay for or you may
get lucky.
