MY sitting height is 37.5". My seats are 4" thick and I have about 2" of
head room. My seats are not presently installed so I cannot give you the
seat to overhead measurement.

sitting height is 40". I came across some information today that might
indicate I would have a tight fit in that dimension in a Rebel.

Can some of you with a flying Rebel do me a favor when you get the
chance? Measure from the top of your seat cushion to the first thing that
would knock a noggin in the overhead.

G'day

You would have to be built like Shaquille O'Neill or Michael Jordan to have
any fear of banging your head.

I am 6'6" and #295 and have lots and lots of room. My seat has a 4" cushion
that is also covered with a woolly sheepskin. Very comfortable!

However what I did do was to install two extra lengths of seat railing. This
allows the seats to move a long way back making entry and exit a breeze. As
you are not installing a rear seat the distance that the seat moves back
will not make any difference. I would also recommend moving the seat belt
anchor point from the stock position on the door sill. That is unless you
wish to sing soprano!

I have a headlining and it makes no discernable difference to the headroom.

There is ample shoulder room and if for some reason you rub shoulders with
your passenger all you need to do is move one seat a little further forward
or backwards.

Get building! You will love the Rebel. I do!

G'day Ian

Any chance of some photos of your Rebel? I am particularly interested in
which cowl you used with the 912S. Also, be grateful for any indicators of
performance with the 912S you might care to share.
