Although the floor wasn't supplied with the AULA kits, I think
most would now add it, along with the channels & inner corner wraps,
(and FUS-70's for the top cabin corners, and the FUS-30 doubler too) ...
What we have seen is diagonal creases in the side skin bays. This
may only show after some hard landings on wheels, and/or very rough
water ... Also, with the extra flex & twisting, Wayne's mod to
make a larger, thicker tail-post-to-top-bulkhead bracket is definitely
a good thing. That area needs to be checked for cracks - I've torn
2 of them ! No problems now, with the larger .032 doubler.
I thought you had added the floor - Certainly didn't see
any problems with your beautiful Rebel ! Of course, you knew what
you were working with, and respect the limits. Not all ultralights
(or regular Rebels) are lucky enough to be so well cared for ! ;-)

What should we be looking for ( Damage ? ) on the Rebels without the aft
floor. It was my understanding that the aft floor was not supplied with
the Ultralight kit.

Hi Jean !
ABSOLUTELY !!! It makes a box beam out of the lower fuselage,
and greatly increases strength !
The rear floor has been standard since the beginning - somehow,
a rumour started that it was optional, and unnecessary - NOT TRUE !!
There are a couple of Rebels flying without it - a close look will
show the errors in that choice !

Except for sleeping.... For a structural purpose, is it a good
thing? ...
