Should probably be "soft copper". The malleable ones will eliminate some
(not all) risk of craking! The malleable one is more expensive but for the
little qty you will need!

Hi Mike
I think I have a piece of copper in my shop(somewhere.). I believe it is
.125 thick. I drilled it and tapped it for a bus bar. If you like I will cut
a piece and send it to you.

Mike
AFAIK brass is slightly preferable to copper but either will do. If you
don't have it by the next meeting I can cut you some brass strips.

Hi Ken, I will need something within the next couple of months, so if
you had a little to spare, I could certainly use it.
Thanks

OK Jim
I have a sheet of it but it is a bit of a bear to cut even with a
bandsaw so I'll try to remember to cut a few at the size Mike mentioned
unless you tell me otherwise or want to wait until you plan your panel.
