But I wasn't done asking him questions! I was thinking
of one about how much better the Rebel was than the
Bearhawk. LOL

I was thinking that the -50 weather we were having here in Fairbanks had
frozen the electrons in the wires!

It's so damn quiet out there, I thought it might be broke, too! I'm at a
lowpoint in building enthusiasm and need the day to day posts to sustain me.

I also am at a low point in enthusiasm, but am close to getting
the Rebel together. It is painted, engine installed and run, but
the panel is not in. I do not look forward to running a wire from
pin 19 on one instrument to pin 33 on another instrument, and then
go on to the next the next wire again and again. I hate wiring so
have put it off till the end figuring that I could not wait to get
it flying. Unfortunately wiring still does not get me excited. I
have about 60 more wires to go and have to figure in some re-do's
as I figure better wire routings and/or screw up. So I too look
for some success stories or pictures on this site.

Both of our planes have been a long time in incubation.

Well, it's nice to hear from another builder. Funny how this site can be at
traffic jam level and at other times it's dead! As far as the incubation,
I've only been at this for a year. We bought an unopened kit from someone
up here. It was manufactured in '92, though!

I have been tempted at times lately to buy a plane so I can fly. I like the
journey but as a new pilot I'd also like to be up there!

I guess your advice would be to wire as you go, huh? I'll keep that in mind
as I go on.

Good thoughts! Craig
