Murphy Moose

Post by steven bowley » Sun Feb 19, 2012 10:22 am

As everyone else on this list I've been trying to learn as much about
Murphy and their products. I purchased a kit in 2002 and with no
previous experience and some much appreciated help from MAM tech, I have
a completed airframe, basically by myself without any onsite
assistance. I had help to do the wiring/avionics. I hope that the
plane will fly in the next few months. I agree that the manual
requires a lot of thought to complete some of the sections which
require more time than most of us want to spend. Overall, I expect to
have what I wanted in a airplane, one that I can work on and modify as
the need arises and have many years of fun flying. No matter who you
talk to, if you are going to build a kit aircraft, you will be faced
with an enormous task that most people never finish and anyone that
does complete the project has the right to voice their opinion regarding
their work. All of the messages on this website are helpful for other
people to make decisions regarding their plans, whether favorable or
not to MAM.
I appreciate all of the info that this site has provided and the effort
put forth by the webmaster.
