Thanks WRH !

It's not that we're "blindly committed and don't want to hear" !
This is OLD NEWS - we all heard it a long time ago, and formed our own
opinions, and made our own buying decisions.

You seem to be putting a LOT of weight on ONE negative letter,
and accepting it as gospel. I can tell you from personal experience
that there are "inaccuracies" in that letter. For that matter,
there are Mooses now flying that somehow managed to get built by
folks without any 'hired guns' - and they aren't falling out of the
sky ! Have a look at the 'Completions' section on Murphy's web site !
ASK some of the happy fliers here on the list - don't try to "tell
them they're stupid" or 'educate' them - they BUILT them, and they
FLY them !

In any case, it seems to me that, if you want opinions about
the Bearhawk, you would likely get more useful answers by joining
some "Bearhawk builders" email list. If you really want to learn
about Murphy products, take a few months and browse through the
email archives here that Mike has kindly compiled. I would suggest
starting at the earliest entries - that way you could see all of the
things that Murphy, AND the builders on this list, have come up
with to make great airplanes even better !

Can we please get back to helpful suggestions on building
and flying Murphy products ??

I guess all here are commited to it and really dont want to hear it.

I've got a year to decide and take my time to decide. I can read the
posts.

I appreciate the opportunity to hear the builders thghts and ideas. After
doing that
with several diff kits i'll have a good idea which ones are the best buy.

I'm sure a completed 'Murph' plane is great and does its job. So are
many others..

I may join the EEA and talk to some of those guys..I know they have a
tech advisor also.

I have $4,000.00 worth of parts for a Bearhawk I will give you if you
want to build one of them and a set of plans. That was the first plane I
started. All you have to do is pay the shipping. I am now building a MOOSE.
Thats all I will say on the subject. Dale SR-033

That exactly what im gonna do.

Se i believe the planes are over designed for safety so I think customer
support and service IS very important for an Aircradt.

I may try and attend the Arlington, Wa deal. Will you be at that one?

Dale,

Is that offer open to anyone?

Nah, better not. It sounds like there's another person here that would appreciate the offer more than I would.

Besides, I enjoy the Rebel.... even though there were some trying times in the building process. I flew a Rebel before I built one, and would build another in the future.
