[rebel-builders] types of floats

Nothing wrong with the MAM 1800's ! Lightness is what makes these machines
get into the sky and at between 258 and 280 lbs (depending on vintage and
skin thicknesses) you can't go wrong with the MAM 1800 amphibs. The only
Certified comparable size amphib out there is the Whip 2100's and they are
around 435lb. The MAM1800 straights....each barrel can be lifted with one
hand. I have a set tucked away here that nobody seems to want for unknown
reasons (everyone around here's on amphibs!). So may still have them when
you get there! A messly $13,500Cdn CASH (including attach gear and rigging!)
and not far for you to drive and pick them up from Michigan.

As I research and build on rebel 009, I still find time to think about the
future of 009. What will it look like and how will it perform?
Can you guys tell me, what types of floats are out there for 009? are the
mam floats the better or is there another one that is being used?
I hope to go with anphibs but may go straight? depending on the ending
budget!
Any advice?
Dave T.
