New Manual Worth It?

Although I have read complaints before about the Rebel manual, it really
hit home last night. I spent 1/2 of my 4 hours of work last night, just
trying to understand what the manual wanted me to do. I have a version
produced in 1994. Have any of you purchased the $70 newer manual? Is
it worth it? I'll take a look at Wray's page, it will probably help.
