Well Bruce and Myself spent a good part of the afternoon packing the snow
down into the slush with our snowmobiles. If the snow fall will hold off for
5 or 6 hours this will freeze up and we'll have LOTS of aircraft parking on
solid walkable surface.I'll check the lake again tomorrow if it snows
tonight, and if required give it another go over with the sled. There is
about 5 inches of snow on top of about the same amount of slush. This is
just fine for landing on the lake in.....just don't stop out there! Keep her
moving and bring your airplane to the South/East end (by our wind shelter)
and park on what we have packed down.

Same plans as usual...shooting for 10 am 'till ? (usually 1 or so) on
Saturday and Sunday will be the weather date.

The Saturday morning email posting will come from our new Midland/Penetang
President Paul Turner....as I will be gone from the house by 5:30 am and
that's too early to make the go/no go call. God forbid anyone that calls my
house and wakes my wife.. >DO NOT< call my house on Saturday am! I will
NOT< be here. That also means I won't be able to have any fuel there for
anyone on Saturday so travel accordingly. If you definitely need fuel advise
ASAP and it may still be possible to make some arrangements.

Cheers,
Wayne O'Shea
