Rebel Flaperon setup

Post by Bob Patterson » Sat Feb 18, 2012 2:53 pm

Ummmm..... you do know that 18 degrees down is the maximum that
the factory recommend for the Rebel, eh Clay ??!!
There are only 2 flap supports .....

If you go with 18, you might be able to get the 2 notches of
negative - all positions are supposed to be 6 degree increments.
Each notch of negative should give 2-3 mph more cruise - and a
better ride in turbulence.

Thanks Wayne, I forgot about your setup. It sounds like I should set to
around 20 degrees down and pre-load the cable a little before drilling
the cable guide. I can add another notch later if needed.
