Plastic fuel tanks - Rebel

No I didn't know anyone was left flying around Ontario with plastic
tanks....doesn't change my stand on them. You'd think a guy with 20 years in
the plastics industry would love to have rotomolded tanks...but NOT!

If he's got plastic tanks......throw that shit away now! It wasn't cross
link Poly from my understanding...Ie fuel will evaporate/leach right thru
it.

That's great news ! Thought the number sounded familiar !!
It'll be really good to see her flying it !!!!! :-)
Definitely stick with the bungee gear - you can add Wayne's
die spring mod later (next time he's doing a batch of 'em ...).
You likely should upgrade to the new Murphy wheels, brakes,
and axles at the same time, and the new plexi windshield -
save a lot of grief later ! Check the Murphy site for ALL
the Service Bulletins - yours might even be one of the ones
that had the slightly undersized wing skins .... like our
#002 did. Also, order that extra FUS-30 for doubling the orig.,
and about 5 extra ST-28's (the thicker ones ...) to replace ST-31's
in door frame, and FUS-70's for all 8 corner wraps....
There have been quite a few changes before #200 ....
I'm sure Mike Jones might have a few more gotchas - he's #007.
