Elite elevator position

Re: level flight with up elevator. I'm not sure how the airplane would fly
on wheels, but on floats it flies 25% slower = 50% less lift at the same
angle of attack. Then it has to carry another 300lbs or so for the floats.
This extra lift has to come from increased angle of attack, which requires
at least some up elevator. Wayne assures me 1/8" shim under the rear stab
attach point will make all the difference (Elite differs from Rebel here).
I'll know come the spring. Anyway, on the Elite it's a good precaution to
install the stab with captive nuts so you can shim it without removing the
entire stab.
