Rebel wire routing

Does anyone out there in Rebeldom know where the best location on the
elevator that the electric trim cable should exit?

I have seen the wiring exiting through the factory punched hole in the
root rib and have seen some exit through the bottom skin.

It seems as though exiting the bottom skin, one would have to make 2
bends in the cable to get into the fuselage. But, if you ran the cable
out the root rib (where the factory pre punched hole is), there would be
only 1 bend in the cable. Any suggestions, comments?

Also, does anyone have a source for good weatherproof connectors?

I ran mine out the prepunched hole in rib. Same for my white position and
strobe on the rudder out the bottom thru the rib. Put in the appropriate size
grommet. On the trim I made my electrical connection inside the fuselage out
of the weather. #460
