That's why u don't have to fuse the wire to it!

You are right. I don't know what the heck I was thinking. That is the way
the previous owner described it to me and I just took it for face value.
There is a small terminal on the solenoid that completes the circuit and
activates it.
I saw the stinkin thing, but it just did nto click until after I was at
work
today.
