Elite - mixer travel

Hi Mike !

Check out the pic in the archives - Rebel - controls.
Theres a shot of the mixer assembly with the arm in the neutral
position.

About 1" of space above the arm for negative ----
---- note: this does NOT apply to the Elite - you can't have
(or aren't supposed to have) negative flap. They're already
rigged for about 5 degrees of negative if flush with the top
of the fuse.....

Negative flapperon helps the Rebel to cruise faster,
and makes it less bouncy in turbulence, because it changes the
whole airfoil shape, all the way out. Doesn't work on the
separate flaps of the Elite... so, for cruise, the Elite flaps
are rigged to - 5 degrees, to match the ailerons, giving
the benefit of negative for one setting only - flaps up.

Hi all,
I guess I don't quite get the instructions. To adjust the flap cable
properly, where should the travel end up when looking at the mixer, as far
as distance left in the slot above and below the moving arm? That is when
moving the flap lever full or no flaps.
Thanks,
Mike Betti
