Float to fus throat angle revisted

Finally got a roll of film developed that my wife Leah had snapped a couple
shots on, of me landing in late August. I have my floats currently at 3
degrees throat (top of float to thrust line of fuselage) and as you can see
in the pictures I am almost over rotated at touch down with very little
elevator input. Wondering other float flyers thoughts on adding another 1/2
degree or degree to the throat angle before spring.

Still trying to 3 point her, are you? And how much water do you
keep in that back compartment? I still have mine at 2.5, but was
planning to go to 3. I know Bruce G. has his at 3.5, but we
haven't flown together since he repitched his prop, so not sure
how his compares now. At some point, they should start losing
lift and creating negative drag, and affecting cruise speed. You
might have to adjust your elevator trim to compensate for some
nose down pressure.

At 3 degrees throat angle, what is the angle to the wing chord?

It's either three or four degrees from the thrust line to theoretical wing
chord.

Not carrying any water in DJK's floats. Seems a little less nose heavy than
FOKM was since I have the WD prop and FOKM has the metal.
