Subject Grinding aluminumon a stone wheel
Sorry but I feal I must jump in hear
From Dick Wampach SR-3500 sn 108 builder
Back in A/P school about 40 years ago we were told in sheet-metal 101,
Do not grind aluminum. on a stone wheel! It will load up the wheel, and
when it is next used on steel it will heat up, and the wheel could
disintegrate on you!
And that could hurt you, like a poor mans hand-gernade.
Thanks for listening or in this case reading
