Not sure if this is applicable ... but the new Elite gear legs I bought came
with squared off edges at the saddle area. They had to be filed to a round
edge to fit cleanly into the saddles brackets. No work to the saddles
brackets was required or done.

I filed my gear leg to fit. I know Steve had his machined to fit. I ended
up filing a little off the bracket also.
Haven't tried to put them in yet after paint...

Subject: Main gear legs
I was trying to trial install my main gear before getting it powder coated
and found that the gear leg is slightly wider than the slot in the clamp
preventing me from getting it through the clamp and attach bracket. I can't
decide whether to sand down the gear leg or open up the bracket and clamp.
I am also unclear how much clearance the powder coating will take up. Any
suggestions/ideas? Also are people painting the brake calipers/mounting
bracked/wheels or getting them anodized or powder coated or just leaving
them unfinished?
