hi all

so what is procedure to hook up control cables, making sure length is
correct for amount of movement in the turn buckle

i am guessing attach one end with nico then set controls in neutral
position, run rest of cable and measure or mark length on cable with turn
buckle in expanded position, this should allow cable to be tightened taking
up slack in cable

any suggestions or corrections would be nice

also, is there meeting this Sunday

thanx

Hi Mike Sounds like you've got it figured out. I crimped the ends at the
tail first cuz it's easier to work in the cockpit to get the end that has
to be done with the cable in the plane. Meeting sunday yes.

You may want to temporarilly clamp the cable around the thimble so that
it is easy to get both lengths in the ballpark. Think I wrapped the
cable with thin safety wire or something to hold it, then marked it,
removed safety wire, and nico pressed.
