off-topic: 2 bit airports and space

Hi all,
Thought I'd share some pride in a thin personal connection to Steve Robinson,
who has bumped up a few notches of noteriety in last week's space walks from
the shuttle. He went to school in the ME department I work in, so I've met
him a few times when NASA has pushed their astronauts out for lectures and PR
type stuff. Last March on a lazy Sunday afternoon I was walking back from my
hangar at our little 2 bit airport and I see Steve Robinson sitting on the
picnic table with a friend. I stopped to say hello and wish him best for his
upcoming flight. He said it was his last weekend off before the intensive
push to get ready for their mission, so, with his butt on the splintered
picnic table at a small airport, you know he's a friendly unpretentious
airport bum at heart. Anyway, that's my brush with aviation greatness.
