David Fife Tail and Wing Tips

Unpacked my new tips today. They are beautiful! As the old saying goes "Smooth as a baby's bottom" I slipped one of the Hoerner wing tips over the wing and the fit was excellent. Thanks Dave, you do great work.

Lonnie, Thanks for the order. Glad you like them. I
hope to step up production this winter, new molds and
more molds. It seems that others are interested in
the tips and I can then fill orders faster.

have spread the word and to those that have placed

To all Rebel Builders.

I am the person that produces the Hoerner Tips along
with one piece elevator/rudder tips. You no longer
need to spend countless hours making fiberglass parts
for this great aircraft. I am a small business. I
fully intend to expand my business and supply addl
parts to other aircraft as I expand. My hobby is
turning into a full time business. I started this on
a dare from Curt Martin and Bill Kelly here in
Michigan. I love this aircraft. I hope to some day
own/build one. Well enough of my dreams.

The parts that I produce are done so to save you time.
Most of you love to work with aluminum but do not like
working with fiberglass, I do. It is great to create.
Well, I created molds for a Hoerner style tip to fit
the Rebel. Thanks goes to Bob Patterson and the
builders up in Brampton, Ontario, Canada for their
insistance. Curt Martin and our late friend, Bill
Kelly really apreciated the work I did for them. I
also produce a one piece tip to fit the elevator and
rudder, and one addl part, a fairing to cover the
control rod to the flapperons.
Well, the cost is what everyone will eventually ask of
me. The Hoerner tips cost $520.00 per set, the tail
tips are $195.00 per set of 3, and the fairing is
$25.00. Shipping is extra.

in the evening. You can see my parts on Wray
Thompsons wab page, Thanks to Wray for posting them.

Thanks to all for the interest. If any of you have
suggestions for other parts, for Rebel or others, feel

Have been following your progress since you first introduced your wing
tips. Spoke with you over the phone about 1 year ago regarding similar tips
for the super rebel. Presently only have the cabin left to do before engine
and instruments. I am still very interested in your product if and when
they become available for the SR. Please let me know.

Rob,

I regret to inform you that I will not be making
Hoerner tips for the Elite or the SR. The reason is,
Murphy changed the configuration of the end of the
wing on the Elite and SR. While my tips will fit the
wing ( same wing as the Rebel) they will not fit the
Elite and SR. they can be modified to fit but would
add approx 12" to each wing. Not a good thing to do.
I may in the future attempt to create a different type
of tip for these two aircraft but I do not see that
happening in the next year.
Once I do create one I will post it on the webb page.
