Great Builder Assistance

I just had Brian Godden and Doug Franklin down for two weeks to help with
the Moose. I can truly say that their two weeks of work save me about two
years of time (especially on my schedule!).

What is more important, they fixed most of the problems with the Moose that
are known but not acknowledge by Darryl and the current Murphy team. These
guys are pros, work hard, tell bad jokes, and drink good wine!

As an aside, being a first time builder, the promotion by Murphy that the
SR/Moose can be built by a first time builder and with regular tools is an
absolute myth--my own opinion is that it is outright false advertising.

Anyway, we have the engine hung, wings on, and I will be getting the tail
on in the next few weeks. I still figure we are a couple of years from
flying but major progress.

Feel free to contact me should anyone want more detailed information about
Brian and Doug's help and agreement.

Brent

Great feedback.... Can you give us some sense of the financial arrangement and cost. I don't know where you live nor Brian and Doug. Did they have to fly to your local? What did it cost for their time for 2 weeks?

Brian and Doug will arrange with you their own deal but basically, it is
$1000 US each five day week for each person plus travel, room, and board.

Brent:
Glad it worked out for you with Brian and Doug. I have been thinking about
doing the same. Can you let me know more about the costs, living
arrangements, etc. that you agreed to? I'm considering a months' assistance.
You can post details or contact me at jtpackard@usfamily.net
Thanks,
