If you have the leaky wing tank fix kit coming and want to move ahead and
cut the new holes while waiting.
Wing cutout dimensions 9 inches by 7 inches with a 3.5 inch radius, if you
layout two 7 inch diameter circles with their center points 2 inches apart,
then connect the tangent on sides you will have a template 9 by 7.
The covers that come in the kit are 10.25 inches by 8.25 with a 4.13 inch
radius (i.e. if you want to make your own, same as above, two 8.25 inch
diameter circles with centers 2 inches apart.)
They designed it so you can just cut out the entire old doubler and cover,
no need to drill out any rivets. The new covers have no doubler, they just
rivet onto the bottom skin.
Above info is from Robin at MAM.
