just up loaded pdf's of my door layout with dimensions for cut out, should
mention that when friend cecil shaw did this design this winter he still had
to cut small oval cutout in the panel that overlaps the bottom of the door
frame, but rest worked pretty good
also not you need to get aluminum tube to slide inside the door frame to
join the top and bottom halves together and leave 12" of overlap each side
to put lots of rivets in it to make the join strong, hope this makes sense

Look forward to seeing them. To get the door demention changes at the
forward lower corners, I'm temporarily installing one of the wings and wing
strut. One solution to the strut clearance issue is to do what Sam and
Sandy did ... The Archer Elite has gull wing doors, and they hinged the
lower front corner section of the door so that it can clear the wing strut
... and it works well. My plan is to gusset the fuselage opening at that
corner and remove the same area from the door.

Look in the Rebel section. Sure there are some pics there of gullwing
doors.
My doors swing both ways. Normal front hinged door and up lifting window,
or
bolt the two sections together, remove the front hinge pin and they become
gullwings. Guess I might finally get around to using them that way in the
next few weeks if I ever get those floats on!
