Post by alan.thompson » Sat Feb 18, 2012 10:35 am

Just wondering. Is there something that tubeseal does that ep-420 thinned w/ ep-500 doesn't do?
ie. can thinned 420 be used to corrosion-proof the inside of aluminum tubing,or do I need tubeseal?
Thanks.

Hi Alan !

I suppose you could, if you tilted & sloshed it around enough ....
TubeSeal is like Linseed Oil - it runs in easily, then creeps into joints,
and stiffens, but doesn't harden & crack. Possibly a better choice
for spots where you never get access after finishing the part ...
