How pretty you want the internals to be is your choice but you definately want
to remove scratches and file internal radius's and anywhere that a stress
concentration might lead to an eventual crack. If you assume everything flexes a
little in use it might help you visualize why. Also make sure that you deburr
all metal edges that will touch another piece. For the places that aesthetics
count, a wipe with a scotch-brite pad after filing helps. Someone also pointed
out to me that deburred internal edges were nice if you have your arm inside an
inspection opening at a later date.

The factory suggest that all metal edges be radiused, filed, and
polished to take out tooling marks. Just what parts must this be done
to?
Is it necessary to do all the parts that form the internal structures
such as wing rib spars (etc)?

Good advice ! Ian might find it a lot easier to use the swivel-head
deburring tool with the curved blade on large sheets. I found it much
faster & cleaner than a file, and great for inside larger holes. A scotch-
brite wheel on a drill can also be handy ...
