nicopress and cables

Not a bad idea to have one but it also depends on what tool you are using to
press the sleeves. I use the No 2 Swage-it tool, the little hand one that
you tighten two bolts for the press. You always tighten it down until it is
tight and the tool halves touch, when you do this the sleeve is always
compressed far enough to fit into the go, no-go gauge.

I am not sure if that is the case with the more expensive lever type
squeezer tools.

Just a reminder to anyone reading, it takes three presses per sleeve. We
found one with only two presses per sleeve (and all his cables were done).
To the builder's credit, he redid the whole thing with the proper number of
presses.

Also supposed to use plated sleeves on stainless cable not the plain copper,
but 9 out of 10 certified I have looked at don't have the plated either.

FWIW
