Hello Again Rebel Group:
I have a question for you building Rebel 662 Door Plunger Assembly
I am not sure what the specifications of the (D-12) tube that goes into
the door latch plunger is (I have no D-12 in inventory). It looks like I
have two choices in my stock: 1/4 inch O.D. OR 3/16 O.D. (D-11)
material. See Chapter 21, Figure 23.3.10.
HOWEVER . . .
The 1/4 inch O.D. material will fit in the Delrin Plunger 1/4 inch wide
machined slot BUT has I.D. larger than the 1/8 inch rivet that is
suppose to hold it in place.
The 3/6 inch O.D. material is a bit loose in the Delrin Plunger machined
slot and has a smaller I.D. than the 1/8 inch rivet, consequently, if
this is what I should use, the I.D. will need to be drilled to #30 for
the rivet to fit.
Which tube material is correct to use?
Thanks in advance for any information.

Rebel Door Plunger Assembly Question
Rebel Door Plunger Assembly Question
It's just there to hold the spring back. Just reworked those on Howard's
doors last week and it's indeed 3/16 OD x 1/8ID. While the piece of tube is
still long run your #30 bit down the tube. Then make your slices and clean
them up enough to get the rivet in again.
