I'm with Ken on this...I think! Tighten the wire end properly and leave
enough wire sticking out for future adjustments. Bending a curly cue on
the
end is going to bite you in the @$$ later on when you want to remove or
adjust. If you are that concerned about the cable end falling off....go to
the local jobber and get some small choke cable stops and add one to the
open end of the cable to prevent the assembly from falling apart if the
one
running your throttle/mixture comes loose for some reason.

Well if it is just an opinion you want - why didn't you say so?
We all thought you wanted something worthwhile ;)

Bend a little 270 degree loop if you are positive you'll never need to
remove the wire or adjust it and you have the room. You are almost
always going to want to remove it or adjust it though and it WILL
therefore extract vengeance and your blood sooner or later. At that
point an irresistable urge to mangle it may occur. You could
perhaps try to compromise with a little waviness then wrap it with
tape (preferably self fusing silicone tape) or heatshrink.
